Went back to Wisconsin this weekend for the annual family picnic. Don't get there as much as I'd like. Hadn't been on the old family farm since we moved off it in '62. Not much has changed. The pine trees around the house have gotten bigger. The old barn is showing its age. I think the house is about 1920 era and the barn, maybe late 30s. But I never really knew. Something I noticed about landscape shooting in the area: You can still shoot 'scapes of the rolling hills and do so without power lines in the pics. That's getting tough to do any more. And of course not everywhere but there remain lots of good places to shoot.
