Chris, I'm thinking that we may be confusing servo and continuous. My understanding is that the MZ/ZX series will do predictive focus after the shutter button is pressed. But the PZ-1p/MZ-S also have a mode where as long as the shutter button is halfway down, it will continue to focus on whatever you point it at. So if you are following some sports action, you can just hold the shutter halfway down as you are panning around. When the moment arrives, just press the rest of the way down. My ZX-10's cannot do this. I was under the impression that the whole ZX/MZ line (excepting the MZ-S) are the same way.
