I had the K-1 with the Pentax A* 300mm 2.8 with the 1.4x extender and one of those AstroZap solar filters someone on the list recommended. I had just also purchased a pair of SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO UHS-I SDXC Memory Cards from B&H, which are much better than the old cards I had and brought as backups, the new ones are much faster and make a difference for the K-1's large DNG RAW files. The tripod was a Oben CT-3581 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with BE-126T Ball Head, which was just sturdy enough to hold everything (next time I'll go with something more substantial). I figured the tripod was the weak link, which is why I brought the IR remote and used the mirror up shutter setting.
