Sorry, Ann. There was no time. I didn't even see my brother Frank and his family.
The trip was a funeral run. One of my oldest friends' father passed away: the gathering of ancient friends assembled to give him his send off into the beyond, and then be with our friend. I spent most of the five days I was there up in the Shrub Oak neighborhood. Never got near NYC; I flew in and out through HPN in the north county. One of those "necessary and inconvenient" moments… That said, it was an amazing trip anyway. Friends I hadn't seen for 40-45 years were there. We don't talk much, but when the chips are down, we are there for each other. Another trip, probably in Spring, and I'll be in to visit. :-) G — "No matter where you go, there you are." > On Sep 1, 2017, at 5:40 AM, ann sanfedele <[email protected]> wrote: > > I like the photo - but , what, you were in NY and I didn't get to see you? > harumph! > I''ll give you an easy out -- my land line is STILL down - if you called the > 212 number you would just think I was M I A ;-) > > ann > > On 8/31/2017 6:56 PM, Godfrey DiGiorgi wrote: >> From my recent trip to New York… >> >> Gray Day to Fly >> Westchester County Airport 2017 >> >> https://flic.kr/p/X4w32F >> This photo is a nine frame panorama composite, captured hand-held through >> the airport's Observation Lounge window.
