Sorry, Ann. There was no time. I didn't even see my brother Frank and his 
family.

The trip was a funeral run. One of my oldest friends' father passed away: the 
gathering of ancient friends assembled to give him his send off into the 
beyond, and then be with our friend. I spent most of the five days I was there 
up in the Shrub Oak neighborhood. Never got near NYC; I flew in and out through 
HPN in the north county.

One of those "necessary and inconvenient" moments… 
That said, it was an amazing trip anyway. Friends I hadn't seen for 40-45 years 
were there. We don't talk much, but when the chips are down, we are there for 
each other. 

Another trip, probably in Spring, and I'll be in to visit. :-)
