Some moths have feathered antennae, others straight. Skippers (Hesperidae) have a pointed bulge at the tip, unlike the knob of other butterfly species.

I have looked at -- and photographed -- several individuals, and none have
the "feathers."  At times it looks and flies like a skipper, although it
did rest on the pool coping longer than most butterflies (or moths for that
matter) do.

That was what I first looked at when I saw your photo because the wings
looked moth like, but I didn't see much feathery on the antennae. I will
note that there doesn't seem to be a ball at the end of those antennae
either.
