Hi, Try googling for Toshiba FlashAir. It proved to be an useful companion in a lot of remote control scenario. I use it to scan books remotely and automatically with a Pentax MX. Two modes of operations: 1- the card makes the MX appear as a WiFi Access Point (AP). In this mode, you connect your computer or your smartphone to this Access Point to obtain an IP address. 2- the card makes the MX connect to an existing WiFi network (STA). In this mode, the SdCard gets an IP address and then becomes a part of your existing network In both modes, there is a web server sharing a web photo gallery that becomes accessible to any device. >From there, many things are possible. Personnally, I run a script that retrieves photos periodically but you can browse the SDCARD with any web browser to download manually any photo.
