So... a couple of times in the recent past I've posted panoramas that
I'd forgotten. That is to say, I'd made multiple shots with the
intention of joining them into a pano but forgotten about it until
stumbling upon the images years later and thinking "hey, those look
like parts of a panorama". I've also posted a couple that weren't
intended to be made into a pano but were close enough that it was
possible and, indeed, produced good results.

So... lately I've been scanning old slides and discovered a couple of
shots that weren't intended to be made into a panorama (almost no one
was doing that kind of thing back in 2001 — I certainly wasn't) but
looked like they could be. And indeed they could.
