Well, it's a nice camera but I use it a lot less since the ZX-5n came along, 
so I guess that means I prefer the feel and the interface of the ZX-5n. The 
PZ-1 is definitely not as quiet as the ZX-5n, though.

We can try to arrange to meet* and I can let you see the camera for yourself. 
I don't know how much difference there is between the PZ-1 and the PZ-1p, 
having never actually handled the -1p, but I would think you could get a 
pretty good idea of the one from looking at the other ...

Our mutual friend Tom Boyd would probably appreciate it if you'd also 
consider a 645n (I think he has one).

*however, I am at present recovering from extraction of 4 wisdom teeth, so 
can't say for sure when I'll be out & about again.
