Hi Stan, IMO, Nikon lenses do not adapt well to Pentax mount. I tried a couple of times and gave up. Moreover, I find that adapting lenses with SLRs leaves too many holes in operation due to the loss of the auto-diaphragm mechanism and meter couplings. They simply become too awkward and slow to work with for me.
(Of course, a video adaptation is somewhat different from an adaptation for still work. :-) But I do very little video.) I'd just get a decent Nikon body for whatever special lens you want to keep and use. The D750 goes pretty inexpensively on the used market and the Nikon 180/2.8 ED-AF lens sings on that body. I almost kept my D750 specifically for use with that lens, but then I acquired the Bazooka (Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280/2.8-4 APO) for the Leica SL and I sold all my other long lenses. (Selling them helped fund the Bazooka...)
