Interesting image and nice description. ARe the doves as noisy as they are in the Northern Hemisphere? Hawaii has two species of mourning doves, and they cause a racket almost everywhere, especially at dawn and twilight. Several years back, a pair of mourning doves nested under the air conditioner outside our bedroom, and disturbed our sleep until I finally put a little fencing around the area.
