I just use cards for the most part. I take a laptop as well, but it’s not essential. I just like to process a few files on quiet evenings. A 64 gig card will store enough for my two week trips, and I set the camera to back it up to the second card. I would bring a second pair of cards as insurance, but I doubt that I’d need them.
