Cobh is perhaps the most colorful town in Ireland, and it has escellent museums on the Irish Famine, the emigration, the Lusitania and the Titanic. St Coleman's Cathedral sits on a hill overlooking the town and the harbor. When we were there, we saw a wedding in progress and evn managed to get the bride, in her white gown, in one of our photos.
When we were last in Cork, I couldn't understand most of the locals. Their brogue is very heavy, and they use a lot of local expressions. The radio announcer announce the time as "Tree Turdee."
