Apparently January is going to be a unique opportunity for viewing lunar activity.
The full moons on January 1 and January 31 will be the second and third of three Super Moons in a row. The full moon on the 31st will also be the second full moon in one month making it a "Blue Moon". And it will also be a total lunar eclipse, visible from the western United States to eastern Asia. Viewers in the eastern U.S. can see the beginnings of it if they get up early in the morning just before the moon sets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tARtQkWdZSM -- Science - Questions we may never find answers for.
