PE> You may wish to restrict yourself to 6x7 unless you do all your own PE> printing. I am travelling to the UK in September and am taking my Moskva 5 PE> along for the ride. I contacted one mail order lab that offered to develop PE> E6, then scan and print from the transparencies. The largest format they PE> will do is 6x7 which is the limit of the brand new mega dollar processor. I PE> guess 6x9 is such a miniscule part of the market that it wasn't worth PE> considering. I guess almost all labs will gradually convert to the new PE> equipment and then getting prints from 6x9 will be a real struggle.
Hi Paul, try finding a lab with Fuji Frontier (there's Noritsu one too) digital wet machine. The scanner inside is very good and the scanning frame gate is up to 6x9cm. The machines work on laser/LED principe printing on normal colour chemistry paper (machine RA4). The only problem is with *small* prints as there shows the laser/led array in close viewing, but at large sizes it's very good. Prints from E6 are no problem at all.
