Maybe keep the idea of the image in mind until you find a better subject to
express it.

Thanks, Paul.

I agree about the background. I am still trying to play with the
rendering, but I don't like the basic image enough to spend a lot of time
and energy on it. It was just a tough shot, and I wanted to see what I
could do with it.

The background is too distracting. But a better rendering would help. The
white point is stuck in the mud,

Dan, it’s a great idea but methinks it could have more impact.

What if you cropped 20% off the right and bottom, so that the bones
weren’t coming out of the middle of the base of the frame? You could
consider brightening the background, too.

Cheers,

Rick

The Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda features an iconic dinosaur exhibit: a
dramatic representation of an imagined prehistoric encounter: a
*Barosaurus* rearing
up to protect its young from an attacking *Allosaurus*. The
*Barosaurus* skeleton,
which is the tallest freestanding dinosaur mount in the world, is
composed
of replica bones cast from actual fossils, which would be too heavy to
support in this fashion.
