I find the fire disturbing because the fire was disturbing, you silly
man...
and the bondange shots because I find bondage disturbing.
But neither of those, regardless of the content, do I feel should be in
your "BEST OF"
The fire, because , well, the fire is the story - it would disturb no
matter who took a photo of it or how
skillful the work. (I don't mean the abstract one - I mean the first one).
And of course the reasson I love the bw dance thing is for the same
reasons that you took the photo..
- that shows off your talent at capturing the moment and your eye for
something apparently ordinary but
raised above it with perfect timing. Hope Mark likes it :-)

Thanks, that was during a competition, and I really liked the
interplay in the moment.
especially with the figures in the foreground... I find the fire shot
and the bondage shots disturbing.
If I were to get all pretentious and shit, I'd say that the point of
art is to make you feel, not necessarily to make you feel happy, but
that would involve the conceit that my photos qualify as art.
