Yep - that's the generally accepted name.  "Infantigo" appears to be
a US-specific corruption.

My younger brother had a very nasty case of this when he was perhaps two.
It wasn't responding to the normal treatment (Gentian Violet, in those days),
so our doctor decided to try a new antibiotic that had recently been made
available for general use in such cases - something called "Penicillin".
While Penicillin had been used by the armed forces in WWII, it took a bit
longer for it to come into widespread use. Fortunately our GP kept himself
informed of developments in medicine, and was prepared to try something new.
(This was in the early '50s).
