There are at least 6 species in this SA genus. Several common names are in
use, esp. Impala Lily in SA & Desert Rose overseas. Natural & horticultural
hybridisation has produced many spectacular varieties. This year with the
drought conditions in SA, they are flowering very well. Here are some shots
