The wife and I got back from winter mid-term holidays yesterday. There
were roedeer tracks all over the garden, as often happens when the snow
is deep.
Today when I got back from work, I noticed something small curled up at
the side of the drive between the house and the barn.

It as been put out of is misery by the local vet now.
