I agree with, Godfrey. Am actually
surprised to see a hawk in my book
identified as a Red-tail that has a tail
pictured almost exactly like that in
your shot. I've seen a photographed
numerous Red Tails, all of which
had distinctly obvious red tails. Must
be a California version. (??)
Is a mystery!
