Who's planning to do it?
I'm thinking about it, but I won't be one of the first. I figure there might be
a few bugs in the process, so I'll wait until maybe mid-June or early July to
give Ricoh time to iron them out.
I want to have the K-1 for Grandfather mountain; I have East Coast School from
June 10-13 and I'd like to have it back in time for PPNC Photo Expo in August.
But, I'm definitely gonna' do it, just later rather than sooner.
PS: I ordered the Pentax SMC Pentax-D FA 100mm f/2.8 WR Macro Lens from my
*local* Pentax dealer (I love being able to write "local PENTAX dealer")
yesterday. It's surprisingly less expensive than I thought it'd be.
I want it for a portrait lens. I'm currently using the SMC Pentax-A 100mm f/2.8
Macro, which I'll keep in my kit for macro work on a tripod. I can't hand-hold
macro for shit and off the tripod for portraiture, I'm just too slow with manual
focus. I'm hoping the auto-focus will allow me to work a little faster doing
portraiture.
