After nearly 50 years in radio I may have experienced more bollocks than the
average bear. It is also common in genealogical accounts, especially since the
beginning of the internet era. One simply must learn to distinguish the wheat
from the chaff, and and in many instances the digital SLR makes it easy to
experiment and determine for oneself. Bollocks I can deal with easily enough.
My natural reaction, as a radio guy, is to simply exclaim "Never Mind the
Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols."

My late father concurred with Samuel Johnson about the status of the pun, and
used them frequently. I don't know whether I inherited Dad's sense of humor
from nature or through nurture, but I did, and I try to restrain my natural
urges in public venues.
