I've always seen complaints about the ads on Photo.net, so I don't think they're
anything "new".
OTOH, all I've ever seen are the complaints. I've never seen the ads.
I guess chalk it up to NoScript.

The proliferation of ads is just one of the many things that trouble me
about the "new" Photo.net. This was a place I was just storing random
"street" shots, trying to find one (other than the horse poop image) that
would fit the May PUG. I no longer use it for images I want to show to
