I'm PISSED because I took hundreds of images of beautiful orchids in Maui, and Jan van Wijk came up with an orchid image that brings the flowers alive to an extent I find frightening. I'm PISSED because I am always looking for something interesting to photograph, while Dag Thrane and Toralf Lund took images of nothing and created compelling works of art.
