when you bought from Amazon I"m guessing you bought from a listing that
said "fulfillment by Amazon" If you had bought from a seller who was
merely using Amazon as a platform that surely would not have happened.
It's really weird. But sure B&H would always be a better choiceanyway...
Still is very surprising - I'm not fond of Amazon, but the usual thing
that happens here is that we get things in oversized boxes stuffed with
bubble wrap
around something tiny that isn't breakable.
