The previous two photos (of the Racer, of me and the Racer) were both made with the camera on a tripod at the same focal length equivalent. And I've done a good bit of copy work with the camera mounted on a stand. Results are, as expected, significantly more even across the field.
But subject matter does still present different challenges… :) The 10 cameras that make the exposure are triggered together, not sequentially. But you know that simultaneous actuation of ten coupled cameras, however close, is rarely going to be the exact same microsecond. With foliage at a distance, that is what I mean by the differences in activation time.
