Y'all will be happy to know that the evacuation order for Marion, NC has
been lifted. The engineers determined that Alberto's mudslide didn't do as
much damage to the Lake Tahoma dam as they feared.
And I-40 is at least partially open again. (Not that I go that way to get
to GFM, but I have gone through Marion a few times just meandering my way
home from there).
