On the subject of enlargers...Ace Photo in Sterling has a *mint* Leitz Focomat V35. Unbelievably gorgeous - a work of art. This may be the ultimate 35mm enlarger.
They also have a Beseler 23C Dichro with analyzer for $130. http://www.acephoto.net/ The lady who works there told me they're getting a new Noritsu, and from her description it sounds just like a Fuji Frontier. Anyone know about this model? -- Thomas Van Veen Photography www.bigdayphoto.com 301-758-3085 > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of William Robb > Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2002 12:51 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: building a darkroom timer > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Shel Belinkoff > Subject: Re: building a darkroom timer > > > > I won't say that no enlarger has an on/off switch, but I've > owned and > > used about 15 enlargers over the years and none have had such > a switch. > > They've all been turned on/off through the darkroom timer. > > It is pretty easy to put an inline rocker switch onto the power > cord, if desired. > I recall my first enlarger had such a switch, but none > subsequent to that one did. > > William Robb > - > This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
