When I have cards in both 1 and 2, my setting is for DNG to go to 1, and also jpeg to 2. So it is not that surprising that the extra work would take more time. When only the one card is installed in Slot 1, only the DNG is being written. So, card rating/type alone didn’t seem to make much difference, but trying to use a second slot (for jpeg in this case) does slow things down. stan
