Today is definitely different from all the other days.
I actually got a phone call from someone who wanted to talk to *ME* and not just
another name on some telemarketer's call list. I can't remember the last time
that happened. Months at least.
The other thing, I got an email this afternoon from Amazon to update me on an
order I placed a couple of weeks ago. They had a tracking number so I could see
where my order was in the delivery system. Very useful
... or it would be if the order hadn't already been delivered a week ago. I'm
already half way through the book.
I got a different idea for photographing the fireworks downtown this year. I'm
going to check out a vantage point where I can see the whole city skyline from a
distance - use my 300mm lens and still get big sky.
Don't know if it will work, but I already have hundreds (if not thousands) of
images of fireworks. They're all the same and they're all BLAH. I need some new
way of seeing them.
