Alan, I'm not sure what you mean by "transferred yet." They arrived as tiny eggs on a small potted milkweed plant. They hatched, and started eating the leaves of that plant. As it got a bit sparse, I took a larger milkweed that I had planted in a pot, and placed it in my larger pop-up cage. Then, I put the original plant in the same cage so that the leaves were touching, so they could cross over to the new bigger plant. They have obviously shed their skins several times, and appear to be about half the full size already. Then, I hope they will pupate, and I will take more images and try to see if I can catch one in the act of emerging as a butterfly. This will be difficult, as I am away at work during the week.
