For a few days last week this guy was all over my little back yard - perching a few feet from where ever I was, chipping most of the time. Maybe it had a fledgling hiding in the brush somewhere and was trying to distract me. Whatever, it made for a nice chance to get some closer shots of an otherwise small and elusive subject. And after a few days it vanished.

K1, Tokina ATX SD 400mm f5.6 @ f8. Even at the close distance this still required a severe crop and this is about 1/4th of the full frame.
