Went to CA Wildlife Area this AM.Handy location, being about 20 miles from home.
Flooding has only just begun, but in those areas the "Wildlife" is collecting,
although
certainly scarce considering what it will be in another month or so.
Have shot many Blue Herons, but none as dark in color as this one. Thought it
might
be a Night Heron, but don't think it is.
Brian Shul, who calls me his "Wing Man" and I have some soft plans to start the
Fall
hunt on my 9/20/18 B'day. But I decided to sneak in an early peek.
