On 15/10/18, David J Brooks, discombobulated, unleashed:

>I was just onlooking back at some fall colours from 2016 looking for
>some photos. I noticed that year i shot fine jpg with no B&W settings
>just straight colour and they look much nicer cleaner crisper. Not
>sure what colour setting i used Provia etc.

O the main dial on top I have C1 and C2 for two custom settings.

C1 is set up as straight 'std' black and white, large fine, 3:2 aspect ratio,
auto ISO from 400 to 3200 and min shutter speed of 1/15, sharpness 0, highlight
tone +1, shadow tone +2, noise -2

That gives me some gritty street mono which is my default setting for the
camera.

C2 is set up as Provia colour (std), large fine, 3:2 aspect ratio, ISO 400,
Dynamic Range 200%, and colour, sharpness, highlight tone, shadow tone and
noise reduction all set at zero.

Basically, I swap between gritty mono street stuff and standard bright day
colour stuff. That's all I use the camera for. Still love it and use it
frequently. If I had to choose one camera to shove in a pocket, this would be
it.

Or maybe the Olympus Pen F with Voigtlander 15/4 attached, or maybe the Samyang
12/2 attached, or...... ;-)

Will be trying out my new 'concert lens' on the Oly this week - the A*85mm 1.4
at a gig. Absolutely love this combo.
