Actually there is ... there's an authorized Pentax dealer about half a mile from
my house. It's where I got (and get) most of my Pentax kit.
They did have some problems getting stock around about the time Hoya bought
Pentax (had to order the K10D from B&H), but since Ricoh took over I've been
able to get everything Pentax I want or need from Southeastern Camera in Raleigh.
I might bestir myself to enjoy the day outside, but I'm not doing any shopping
tomorrow. Wherever the crowds are getting great deals, I plan to be somewhere else.
There's nothing I need so badly that I'd go out shopping tomorrow; not even
anything from Pentax. I even went and did my weeks grocery shopping a day early
so I wouldn't have to go into the store on Friday.
I hope all the merchants have absolutely wonderful holiday sales this year and
do so well they give all their employee's gigantic Christmas bonuses (especially
the minimum wage employees), but I ain't going out there to fight Black Friday
crowds.
