Anti climatically, it's as usual with KEH used equipment better than
described. I diligently searched and could find no flaws that would
make this bargain condition in fact it looks like Ex.
It came with the cheap white plastic pushin body cap, OEM Pentax
battery with Vivitar "Rapid" travel charger, no shoe cover, but all
doors and covers looked unused.
I immediately set the shooting preferences to my preferences, mounted
and fired off a few test shots, which I did in rapid succession, (it
also came set to continuous high), I then set that to single that.
Put the shoe cover from the old malfunctioning K-5II in the hot shoe,
and swapped my original PENTAX neck strap with pockets.
So bottom line, it looks like new, (with my track record it won't for
long), cost roughly $50.00 U.S. less than the minimum of having the
original K-5II repaired, with a 1 year guarantee, I didn't have to
deal with precision, and I got an extra battery, travel charger, and
body cap, at worth at least $50.00 U.S. retail, to boot.
They really don't want us repairing our old equipment.
