Ooh, sorry, James. Well, it's time to drill a hole into one of the crutches to fasten a small ball mount - you might as well use one of the crutches as a monopod - after all, you'll be using a long lens now, since you won't be getting close to anything (except your crutches) for 8 weeks - <g>.
