Hello Boris,

I just tried a quick crop (square) leaving parts of the foreground and
viewer left out.
The result looked better with the metal cylinder (bollard) and the
beautiful dog sharing the center stage.
Then the attention is directed to the couple to the right and finally
we look at the left part.

I am sure there are far better B&W street shooters here on  the list.
These are just my two cents.
