destroyed my original corded apple keyboard with decaf tea this morning. Bought a new keyboard , wireless but it requires 10.12 as wireless and i am only on 10.11 but it came with a cord for charging and it works that way. Now i cannot use the volume +- keys they take me to other items like split screen etc. Any ideas form my apple friends.?? to get the volume keystroke to function. Also brightness keys do nothing but if i press F13 and 14 they change the brightness. Is this because of the OS differences, i thought it would not mattter if using the cord.
