Opposable thumbs separate us (if you mean "humans" as "us") from most (but certainly not all) lower animals. However, I am not sure if, in balance, the fruits of this separation have been good or bad for the rest of creation. (Actually, I do have a personal answer to this, but I merely raise the point as an open-ended - and unfortunately totally OT - rhetorical question.) But I digress... Pentax-related content: I just sold my K-mount Zenitar 85/1.4 to a fellow list member, and I noticed that even it has a small clear plastic "nubbie" to help with mounting. Now, if a Russian K-mount lens can have one of these, why couldn't have Pentax included 'em on all of its FA lenses? "What were they thinkin'?"
