one more from our trip to thattekad, kerala. the indian pitta breeds in
the himalayas and the hills of western and central india and migrates
to the south in winter. it's a super skulky bird.

photographed by Adit with the ks1 and the DAL 55-300. by the time i
reached the spot the bird had gone under the bushes. hope to catch it
some other time...
