Are you sure its the pressure plate ??
I have a P30T that did this..tracked it down to
the
little white plastic roller on the pressor bar ( the one on the door than
holds
the film down as you close the back)...I unscrewed the offending plate,
sanded down the protruding metal with a Dremel tool (stone wheel),
reinstalled, scratches gone !
