Crystal Springs is a mountain resort about 150km south of Phalaborwa.

A Kori Bustard rushing off. I hardly had time to get a shot. Stands over
a m tall. Our largest bird capable of flying!
A giraffe with oxpeckers browsing in the late afternoon sun.
A thicket of Protea Caffra shrubs, so common on the Highveld.
A Protea Caffra bloom. Colour is quite variable from almost white to
dark pink.
