We had an historic Kona storm in Hawaii, with a day and a half of chilly weather, high winds, huge surf and occasional downpours. Today, the weather is sunny and pleasant, and everything is back to normal, except for the loss of some of the sands on the beaches, continued heavy surf, and SNOW on the 10,000 foot summit of Haleakalaa volcano.
