Another iPhoto image of a sign. I found this sign amusing as well, for two .reasons. First, the escalator is located in the Museum of Technology in San Jose, CA. How embarrassing for an institution like that has no one who can fix an escalator. Second, don't they realize that an escalator that is not working IS a set of stairs? <G>

When we visited China and Japan, and also in our trip to Russia, ALL the escalators were operating properly. Are our escalators that inferior, or are we just too stupid to service them properly?
