The unease, sort of alertness and suspicion comes through in the photo.

This reminded me of a somewhat similar situation some 18 years ago, during our trip to the 3-Big-Canyon-Parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon). Somewhere close to one of Colorado river riverbands, we stopped by a trading post on the Indian territory, right on the side of the road.
It was a very touristic place, by definition.
We looked at what was there, and then my dad or my brother took a few-seconds-long video (a sort of "panoramic video-snapshot".
Suddenly the woman behind the table became ghm... animated...
I don't remember if she started yelling or talking angrily,
but she started threatening us, and if I remember correctly started
reaching for a cell phone or a walkie-talkie...

We were startled by such a reaction, and just went back to the car and
continued our journey, joking among ourselves that we might get some Indian horse-riders chasing us along the river, as seen in Westerns.

We were rather disconcerted.
We did not see any signs like "Do not not take photo/video", so, the
best hypothesis we had to explain her reaction was that she was
disappointed we didn't buy anything.

Cheers,

Igor

She was uncomfortable with my taking a photo. I asked whether I should
delete it, but she said, "No, just don't take any more." I then asked
whether she minded if I showed it as part of my photos from the cruise/
visit to Nassau. She brightened up a bit hearing I was with a cruise,
smiled, and nodded that it was okay.

I have mixed feelings about the interaction.
