No shutter, it has a focusing helicoid, and it has the sucky A
series cosmetics.
Also, it doesn't cover 4x5 without a ridiculous amount of
extension.
I am quite serious, I would love to be able to spend part of my
inheritance on optics from Pentax that were designed from the
ground up to be used with 4x5 or larger.

4x5 gives about 16 square inches of usable image.
5x7 gives almost 30 square inches of usable image, in a more
pleasing aspect ratio.
The advantage of the 5x7 format is obvious.
5x7 cameras are only slightly larger than 4x5.
This begs the question: Why is the 5x7 format so rare?
