I remember visiting my Mom a month or two before she passed away. By then she had “graduated” to the “other reality” portion of the assisted living center. The staff asked me for help, Mom had been wandering the halls, stealing the TV remote controls from others’ rooms, and the staff wanted me to gently retrieve them… Do what you can, remember the good times, and every day bless your sister for what she is taking on.
As far as your road trip goes, we will be at home in East Central Michigan through the summer and you are welcome to stop by.
