When I rewrote the guideline, it was because I was getting
submissions identified as Canon and Nikon created. I didn't feel
this was appropriate for a gallery identified with Pentax.
The consensus that I got from the group at the time was that it
wasn't too much to ask for one major piece of the equipment
(camera or lens) producing the image to have the Asahi/Pentax
nameplate on it for it to appear in the Pentax Users gallery.
So, under the guidelines that I wrote, and got approval from on
the discussion list, no, a photo taken entirely with third party
equipment does not constitute a picture taken with Pentax
equipment, and would not be eligible for the PUG
