To my American friends:
In these trying and uncertain times, remember that the U in USA stands for
United, and that there is no letter k in America.
Remember it is always darkest just before dawn, and as long as you can
elect your leaders, there is always hope for the future.
Remember that the people across the aisle from you are not the enemy, they
are not "total losers" no matter how much you disagree with them. They are
your fellow citizens.
Remember also that leaders lead by unifying, autocrats rule by dividing.
Be well, and if nothing else, enjoy the fireworks.
